Making the world better; one room at a time.
Blue and Grey Kitchen
Humphrey Munson style kitchen with utility cellar and spiral staircase
This project came to me after the owners had exhausted their options
from standard kitchen designers with unsatisfactory results. The
original room had been unsympathetically partitioned to create a narrow
off-centre kitchen, accessed by a dark transitory larder room which also
housed a cloak room and stairs retro fitted to access the cellar.
Through
careful design work I was able to craft a new plan for their kitchen,
removing the stairs, larder and cloakroom opening the room back up to
its original grand size with a fantastic kitchen installed. A new cloak
room was installed in an awkward under used space beneath the stairs in
the hall, with the room panelled to match the existing panelling with a
jib door.
